THE INTERNATIONAL WINDOW
Inspirin' the next generation. Heheheheee
Elsewhere the English Lionesses overwhelmed South Korea in the Arnold Clarke Cup. Chloe Kelly is the most electric player in Woso right now. Oh. And Lauren James scored her debut goal.
USWNT too good for Canada in the She Believes Cup.
Mallory Swanson in terrific form.
Spain beat Jamaica down here in The Cup of Nations.
But their best 15 players are still on strike. As Canada planned to do but realised they would have been sued by the TV rights contract.
Iceland beat Scotland. Commentary was in Icelandic. I watch all this so you don't have to.
Brazil beat Japan.
Matildas play Spain on Sunday.

Just watched the highlights. First 7 highlights were close chances for Leicester. Was thinkin' this is great. Then next 5 highlights were ManU advancin', scorin' 3. Game over. 😩Last edited by Gilly Goodness; 02-19-2023, 01:03 PM.

Caitlin Foord after scorin' a superb header.
Oz 3 Spain 2
Touchwood. If Kerr, Raso, Foord can stay fit for the world cup, they can bring an almost telepathic understandin' upfront. Add Vine-time Courtney Vine, the fastest winger in the world and a healed Ellie Carpenter and we could run deep.
Scoreline flattered Spain. 2 late consolation goals.
They possess the ball well, but lack athletic presence that the US and England possess. They are all a bit small apart from Jenni Hermoso.
Anyway we play Jamaica on Wednesday.

IT JUST GOT PERSONAL
Has just been confirmed that Australia and England Women and Men will play international friendlies in UK. Startin' with the Matildas playin' the Lionesses on April 11. Socceroos to play in October.
At Wembley Stadium. Pity it won't be Upton Park cause we beat ya's there 😂.
Forget the Fall of Singapore, forget Bodyline, forget UK enterin' the European Common Market, forget Jonny Wilkinson's field goal in 2003. This is personal.
Last time we met was at the Olympics as Great Britain with Kim Little fell 4-3 against us. Ellen White scored a hat trick. Trouble was we scored 4 includin' a brace from Sam Kerr. And a worldie by Mary Fowler. Clutch!
BRING IT ON !!!

I like her. She tells it like it is. Also she was POTM in the 2019 WC quarter final against France who should've won. And would have except for Dunn.
From her Portland days she's mates with Carpenter and Foord. Look forward to seein' her soon downunder. Likewise Katrina Gorry has returned from givin' birth and Mini has revitalized the Matildas. It can be done. Morgan Dunn and Gorry.
