Evening skyscape, 22.30pm, wide-angle so looking north to north-east. I continue to enjoy what the camera on my phone can do.

I used to have a nice bunch of camera equipment, but it was looted after most of my apartment building exploded back in 2002.

King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why I am your king.
Dennis: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

I think today it's starting to feel like autumn is coming in. The air is fresher, humidity is lower, temperature has dropped a notch or three. Much better for me. I love autumn.3 PhotosSometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.

Not an abundance of sky, admittedly, but please enjoy these pics I took this morning (Fri 26/8/22) at about 08.50 while crossing Victoria Park on route to work. The red-brick building is the Uni of Leics Engineering Building, architected by Sir James Stirling.
I love Victoria Park for all sorts of reasons, and crossing it to and from work each day is always a pleasure, seeing its different moods and colours throughout the turning of the year.4 PhotosSometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
