  • Remembering Timmo

I just logged in and was surprised to not see something for Tim Tobish who recently passed away unexpectedly. Tim was a huge part of Yesfans from early on. I have so many fond memories chatting and posting back in forth. Mostly I remember him always being cool as a cucumber and always being kind. He was a real light in and on a message board that could get really dark sometimes. At any rate lets share some memories of Tim (Timmo).

Yeah, I saw this on Sunday. I didn't know him as well as other folks, but he was a really well respected guy on YF back in the day. I remember him as thoughtful, kind, and funny in our exchanges. I know he left a big and positive impression on a lot of folks (myself included), and will be greatly missed by many. RIP.

Yeah, met him a few times, mostly in conjunction with soirées with the Liquor Locusts, usually Earl and Lisa, Kathy, sometimes Matt.

      Very nice guy.

Met him once when he came over to visit a mutual friend. Was after Earl and Lisa did their tour downunder. Had dinner with him. Thai joint on King Street, Newtown. Hot, buzzy night. We were all talkin' 6 to the dozen. Wonder what he made of us and our funny accents? Seemed a chilled guy. And funny. Good soul. Know he was loved by his Liquor Locust friends.

Oh my word! I had a chance to hang out with him a few times at Yes related stuff. He was real close friends with my Yesbabe friend over in Sacramento. I believe they went to last year's BottleRock over in the Napa Valley. May he rest in peace.

Didn't know him personally, but he was certainly a fixture on the old site. He will be missed.
