Shockin' news. Can't believe such a vibrant guy. So full of life on The Ellen Show. Dancin' with everyone. Goes to show how deep and devastatin' mental illness can get. Gunshot suicide in a hotel room. Leaves wife and 3 beautiful kids. Unthinkable. Why?

Sad news indeed. Betsy is a school counselor and she's trained in suicide prevention so she frequently deals with these sorts of issues even with kiddos as young as preteen. Fortunately she has an excellent record of turning people's lives around but she has had a student who moved to a different school system that took their life that shook her up pretty bad. Around here it's mostly girls going down this path and it's mostly due to social media bullying type issues. She's even helped teachers and administrators at her school through tough times. One teacher took his life here because he was having an affair with another teacher (Betsy was not aware of these troubles until it was too late) sometime pre-Covid and they are still dealing with the fallout.
If you or anyone you know is feeling down please don't hesitate to call 988 here in the USA or if that doesn't work +1 800-273-8255 (TALK) to get someone to talk to. Please pay attention to the people around you because they almost always say things that are clues to what they are thinking before they act.
RIP Twitch and peace and love to your family, friends and fans.

We're all pussyfooting around the external factors. I'll go there for a moment.
A prize winning dancer in his 30s suddenly snapped up for a steady gig on the Ellen Show in its 11th season, one of the biggest daytime talk shows on air. After several years, and after a controversy over the show's toxic "work culture", he's upgraded to co-executive producer status and even served as substitute host of the show.
Finally, one day, Ellen throws in the towel, and the 19th season is its last. The final episode aired on May 26, 2022. And Twitch's gig of a lifetime dries up.
But, you know what? Like others have done when the gravy train leaves the station, he continued working other gigs. This year he was featured as the Dad in Disney's Hip Hop Nutcracker, was a Host of Fox's The Real Dirty Dancing, and a Judge on on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. His career was far from over, although it would obviously be different.
So, yeah, mental illness, and evidently no one was wise to it.
