HIS SCREEN NAME ON THE VARIOUS MUSIC SITES WAS OCEAN GYPSYI thought long and hard about posting this here, as I am not sure how much he would appreciate it or how many are still here who would remember him. However, one of my very best friends, Steve Penn, passed away three weeks ago, either Oct 11 or Oct 2., we are not sure which day. I knew him for 20 years, as we first met on the old Yesfans, and progressed into knowing each other in real life, beginning In 2006. Whatever you believe, please offer something up for this old curmudgeons's soul, as he will be missed by many. Several people are planning a memorial for him in conjunction with the Jon Anderson show in St. Charles, IL on May 12.

Oh no! I had many conversations with Steve on Yesfans, but we we were also both part of the team that led the Allgoodpeople Forum for a couple of years, untill we found out that the owner was using us as a social experiment and we, the moderating team, unanimously walked away. We kept in touch for a while after that, but eventually lost touch.
I am so saddened with this news. Steve was a lovely man, with a good heart.

I remember seeing his pic and reading some of his posts. His pic alone always seemed to send off some great energy, with his smile, and sense of happiness, alone.
