So sorry to hear this Rob. Times a great healer, but doesn’t take away the memories, good and bad. Which is a good thing. My mom passed away last year and I often think about times together with her. I still laugh and learn a lot.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your father Virginia YesFan. I've never had to be part of a "pull the plug" discussion but we have friends that have been through some rough medical stuff where it got to the point where they had to start talking about it, and I could not agree with you more on your "remind folks of what to do beforehand when it comes to their directives, and wishes.. It is the decency one should expect, and deserve from their family" comment. Thanks for sharing your story with the rest of us YesFans. I am so sorry to hear about your father. I lost mine 25 years ago and mother 3 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them at some point and smile. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
