    The Unbelievable Truth

OK, a variation on the popular BBC Radio 4 comedy panel game:

List 6 bands/artists you've seen in concert, but ONE is a lie. People leave a reply to who they think is the lie.
You get a point if you guess right, and lose a point if you're wrong.

    Here's my list-
    Gentle Giant
    Luciano Pavarotti
    Joni Mitchell
    Led Zeppelin
    Robin Trower
    UB40

Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

Well the obvious one would appear to be UB40 but my gut tells me that it's untrue that you have seen Joni Mitchell live.

Over the years I have seen live...

    Scissor Sisters
    Snarky Puppy
    Pat Matheny
    The Syn
    Jess Glynne
    The Enid

        How about:
        The Stranglers
        The Rolling Stones
        The Isley Brothers
        Runrig
        Michael Ball
        Kraftwerk

Technically no such act as Pat Matheny (unless it's some obscure tribute artist), but I'll guess The Syn.

Incorrect, I saw the Enid many times back in the late 70’s.

Spelling has never been my strong point, so of course I meant Pat Metheny.

Incorrect. The Syn I saw at their Marquee club gig in London following the release of the Syndestructible album.
