I think that most of us would agree that there is a 'spiritual' aspect to the music and definitely a positive message. There is a bit of observation and revealing of world issues and criticism. Some say Anderson's lyrics oftentimes were largely nonsensical and just meant to rhyme. Some concentrate on the musicianship and musical structure and like to point out that this guy is better than that guy and so on.
But I think there is something more than that, which was evident in Chris' fervent words to Billy on his deathbed, where he said, "Billy, you have to keep the band going!". Perhaps an overall mission to heal the world through love or something like that. In my observation, Yes, The Beatles and Rock and Roll in general seem to indicate this.
