  • Found on beach: Shark biological part

Never fear dear and sensitive readers.

This ain't no dong thread. 😉

    Shark eggs. Ray's too.

Some sharks bear live young. Most lay eggs.
But the strangest alien lookin' things.

They have evolved all kinds of survivalist ways.

The last one has evolved the side spirals to attach to kelp so the growin' pup has access to continual oxygenated water. Some sharks use their snout to wedge them in rock crevices.

Anyhoo. Has anyone ever found one? Made from collagen so flexible when wet but crunchy when dry.

Sharks are fascinatin' things that evolved so perfectly for their environment so long ago. They've stayed the same for millions of years. Unlike most life forms.
