Nike announced today they are permanently closing their huge downtown Seattle Niketown location stating it has become difficult to keep their employees physically safe with the rampant downtown crime.

Nike also has closed their NE Portland Oregon location since last November as the criminals were walking out with merchandise and the police did nothing as they have had enough of the liberal idiot Mayor Wheeler.

Actually, the very beautiful photo of the rear end of a horse that Mr. Armstrong blessed me with should be attached to a postcard to these liberal Socialist Mayor's of all these Democratic Socialist controlled cities as their pandering to the criminals and their pandering to their donors has created an atmosphere where businesses and people are fleeing in droves to other cities or towns.

Mel Gibson's Road Warrior is what these cities will look like in 20 or 30 years.

Last March Portland Mayor Wheeler said he wanted to hire "at least 100 PS3s and potentially 200 sworn officers."

In August it was reported that "of the 675 people who applied for police officer positions last year, only 27 were hired. Police Chief Chuck Lovell said the issue was not funding, but finding candidates that can pass the Police Bureau’s background checks.

Going forward, the bureau hopes to hire at least 10 candidates every month, Lovell said. “That will slowly bring us out of our staffing crisis,” he said.

But Wheeler said he wants more “innovative” solutions and fewer excuses.

So . . . the funding to hire cops is there, but the police are slow in hiring, partly because of the lack of qualified candidates. The City Council has approved funding, the PD seems unable to hire.

But nowhere in any news report about the relations between Portland police and Portland's mayor can I find any evidence to back up your claim that "the majority of the police force consider Portlands mayor to be an idiot."
