Getting an email late on this evening offering me a job has made me smile just now, and cry with relief. I had an interview and admin test yesterday afternoon (Wednesday), and hadn't expected to hear the outcome till after the Easter weekend. It's expected I will start in May. I'm in bits right now.
To all of you who have offered me encouragement and good wishes, and especially at those times when I was sunk in near-despair, thank you, thank you, thank you my brothers and sisters.

Thanks Chris. It's admin assistant in the Psychology department at the Uni of Leicester. I'll be working in the George Davies Medical Sciences Building. It's a full-time, permanent position. No specific start date yet. Uni staff are now on holiday for Easter till next Wednesday anyway.
Couldn't get to sleep last night till sometime after 3.00.

This did, popping up on my Facebook feed this morning. I've been a fan for two or three years, following them on YouTube. A group I'd love to see live in a club or at a cafe-bar or something. It's a style of music that makes me go all tingly and floppy inside, and I'm madly in love with Isobel Cope... That voice! J'adore
