She may never leave, or be seen, again. LOL.

Matt's great with his hands, so I've been told, and can sing. The woman doesn't stand a chance. ;-)

Standing on my path, listening to the symphony of birds, and watching them. My little escape. Saw three blue jays for the first time this year, and an oriole. Robins abound. Starlings and fiches. Haven't spotted out resident hawk/hawks today, and have to look out for the red headed woodpecker that starting pecking at his same old tree a couple weeks ago. It's all great until the mosquitos show up, but that's why I love my swooping bats so much. :-)

I've just spotted a Mallard duck, hunting for dinner in the flood pond.

And the toads are out singing, as it's warmed back up, again.

Ditto...our neighbour's mallard duck, Mr Quackers is in 7th Heaven as autumnal rain keeps comin' down.

Enjoy the Spring. After grey winter, must seem transcendantal!

btw. Can you hear woodpeckers peck from a distance? How loud are they?

I didn't see the Mrs. Mallard, they've been here in the area for several years. We have foxes, too. Pretty good for a little oasis/ hundred year old flood pond, in the middle of a somewhat over inhabited, asphalt jungle. Years back I spotted a bobcat, about a mile away I picked my little townhome because of the green, and the animals. Too bad I'd like to kill every worthless dog owner who let's their dogs shit anywhere, despite the fact we spend too much money for waste stations. But, I degress.

Yes, you can probably hear woodpeckers from a good half mile away. If I still had a good arm, our woodpecker/peckers are that close. The trees are dead, usually a bit hollow for the grubs, and with that hard beak, there is a whole lot to of percussive sound going on for short durations. The world's first drummers. They will work for food. ;-)

                Such cold, merciless eyes. 😉

Just watching the seeds of love by the Beatles, sorry Tears for Fears, when I finally noticed something hiding in plain sight .

At the very start. Image static. Butterfly shakes it's wings. Video begins.

                THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Doesn't cause a hurricane but does kickoff the best song of the 80's.

                Made me smile.

Here's a good picture of one of our wild cat friends. This was taken by a trail camera about 40m from our house's back porch.

Stay inside K-shmitty. That thing looks dangerous. Just prowlin' around the neighbourhood lookin' for slow ducks and injured woodpeckers.

No worries GG. Our bobcats are here because we have lots of tasty rabbits so we're happy they help keep their numbers down and they don't attack humans or cats and dogs. I've even seen bobcats several times out the kitchen window walking through the yard! The bigger wild cats in North America are a different story but fortunately there are none of them around here (although there used to be). We also have plenty of coyotes and both red and grey foxes, and we even had a black bear roaming around a few years ago but apparently he's gone.

                            Wife.

                            Cat.

                            Two feet on the floor.

Nice crisp Snap in the air, and a new beginning.

                            😊

if you see a show in NJ and think you recognize us through some of my posts (it’s obvious) take a shot, tap me on the shoulder, I’d love to shake hands with any and all personally, have a beer, respectfully agree or disagree face to face about the worlds ills, and enjoy a great show.

see the glass half full. 👍

                                Gotta love English optimism....
Perusin' the Daily Mail UK, read it 4 the celebrity gossip and football scandals. There was a headline sayin' Crowds flock to Beach as 14° Celsius SOARS to 20° celsius. Hahahahahaha

Autumn down here and Sydney is gunna be 27° celsius.
So smilin' as I say enjoy the sunshine but don't forget to Slip, Slop, Slap!
