I thought the young, underage punk-ass who came to Marilyn Manson, who was with his girlfriend and girlfriend's mom who was too young to be smoking in the first place, in a non-smoking section, who kept causing me to ruin my vibe by having security come over three times for his smoking, was going to be quickly killed by yours truly, er, oops, was out of place. ;-)

Not sure which Ozfest that was. Probably the first. Enjoyed Dimmu Borgeier ( I know wrong spelling ) which I didn't think was possible. I friend from Trinidad sent by a few burned c.d.s later. He got something signed from me from the YES boys later.
Motorhead was on the second stage, which I thought was odd. Right up front in the pit was I. There were ten or a dozen beautiful young ladies right up there with me. I thought it was a bit odd, considering Lemmy and the boys normal fanbase. I spent that set pushing all the young men away who were intent on slamming into them. They were much appreciative, and had a great time.

First Ozfest had a paint booth/ spray paint place for banners and things. It soon became a titties spray paint booth, and certainly there was a better show going on there which somehow looked elevated like a stage as well, then who was ever on the other two stages. Crazy the ount of women and young ladies who got their breasts painted. One woman appeared to have huge, heavy door knockers pierced through her nipples. Later walking to the car, it was a tad uncomfortable to see an underage 16-17 walking around topless, with spray painted tits/breasts.

Seeing Type O Negative on Helloween, must have definitely been a TREAT!

Oh. Forgot about MM. He was good also. Ozzyfest wasn’t best fit for his perf either. But was good to see him. We Saw a few of his shows on the Antichrist Superstar tour. Luv that record. My fav MM. (My alternate personality has quite a large White Zombie, Type O, Marilyn Manson collection from the 90’s / early 00’s)

i never got seats. Just roamed the lawn and side stage each time.

My favorite Ozzfest moment may be Black Sabbath - War Pigs.

And will digress more. ;-) John 5 is simply an awesome guy, with a great story/stories, an impressive guitar collection, and more talent than most six stringers. Hard to believe a guy who grew up on Hee Haw and country, is still true to his roots of playing mostly Teles.
