Yep. Agree. When I hear those closin' 3 it's like I'm goin' home with a wet sail. My son digs FM especially. Now has his license so no more shall we have a drivin' lesson zoooooooomin' around Steak'n'Kidney with TQ blarin' outta the boombox. Adrenaline coursin' thru my veins. Gonna miss it.

That's the one DBA I don't have yet. Will add it to my collection soon. Now they have a new one soon, I'm one behind! Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all this Yessery.

I've been playing The Quest again lately and it is growing me. The Ice Bridge is still easily my favorite, but I like Dare to Know a lot and I see why some like The Western Edge, very strong Billy presence there.

Ice Bridge and Western Edge for me. A living Island slightly less so.

I doubt I'll revisit the other tracks.

Hmm, weird, I personally have TIB and ALI at my polar ends of The Quest tracks: TBI sounds like a leftover 80s idea (which, hey, turns out…), with lyrics that either don't really go anywhere or have some of the most embarrassing turns of phrase in the Yes cannon. ALI, however, while not perfect (the last bit with "here's to you" and "frontline saviours", uh, well, it *means* well, but falls into the Steve Hogarth trap of trying to write about something *important* rather than something *personal*), the first section's lyrics are not too bad, and the musical touches (the organ snippet at 1:46 is lovely) make it a gem where everyone gets a chance to shine — it's not showy, but everyone united in service of the song.

Was gonna be an IceBridger but in the end plumped for ALI. For the emotion, for the piano at the beginnin- then the harmonies behind the skittery drummin' in the middle to the soarin' climax. Thematically and lyrically dead on point, for it's time and destined to be timeless.

    From Fanfare to Forevermore! 🤩

The Ice Bridge carries the energy Yes need. The rest seems to drift. Hope the new album will be more energetic.

I also go for Western Edge. I wish it was a little longer. Ice Bridge, Dare To Know. Minus The Man and Living Island are other strong tracks but something compels me to say Western Edge over Ice Bridge for some reason. The album needed more Billy.
