    *Happy Birthday*, John Wetton

John Wetton, esteemed vocalist / songwriter / lyricist / bass guitarist of /ASIA\ would have just turned 73 years old (June 12th).

My favorite music artist of all-time.

Having an opportunity to attend a *USA-based" memorial (of sorts - concert + tribute) to his life in June 2017 will always be one of the greatest honors of my music-loving life.

    "RIDE EASY", John Wetton.

Thank you for King Crimson, for UK, for ICON, for your solo work, and most-of all for /ASIA\. "An Extraordinary Life"...yes.

    Great singer, bassist. Loved UK.

Fun video. Power trio from Danger Money.

Love John Wetton, big fan of Asia, Crimson, UK etc. One of the most identifiable voices in rock. I think his vocals were stronger as he got older. Clear as a bell, powerful. Prolific in later years- always a Wetton-related album coming out or a guest spot somewhere, now no longer. Yeah, miss John Wetton. Rock Of Faith (2003)is a powerful solo album, overlooked and recommended. Ride Easy indeed.

Multi talented, but most of all for me the best voice in prog, by far. (Sorry Jon)

The KC & UK work marks him as one of my favorite bass guitarists of his era, even had he never sung. The powerful voice on top of that? Feggetaboutit!
