The one guarantee is that reviewers will call it their best since either Some Girls or Exile On Main St. because EVERY new Stones album gets reviewed like that.

OK. Dirty, swampy, bluesy, funky dumb party anthem. So. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Cool video recyclin' old footage when they didn't look geriatric. Blonde girl in car seems to dig it 😯
431K views in only 4 hours. Yeah. You'd wager it's gonna be a hit. + add all the Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Beatles fans who'll jump on board.
Much prefer Livin' in a Ghost Town as a fresh cool sound. But. Gotta give the base the red meat. No?

I like the guitar, but other than that it’s pretty generic sounding with too much modern production crap.

Prepare yourself for Sweet Sounds of Heaven ( audio is on youtube )
DEAR LORD. I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT
What a song. Performance from Jagger especially. Grammy for best Male rock performance? Start the engravin' now. 😍
His vocals are astoundin' as they wrap around your brain. Song is a sinuous gospel ballad, Stevie Wonder plays simpatico barroom piano. Guitars are tasteful. In background really. Rythm section is snakeskin tight.
But. That vocal. Lyrics. Superb. He moves the listener's body. Is visceral. And. Her Ladyship Gaga supports the earthy Jagger snarl with sweet, soarin', high singin'.
Ghost Town was great.
Angry was cool, INXSy rock-funk
But this is somethin' else. A stone cold classic. 💛
So much droppin'. Lately. DBA. U2. Stones. Wow.

I’ve never been a huge fan but I’ve gotta give it to Mick and the boys. Jagger is 80 and he still has that growl and grit in his voice. Lady Gaga doing her best Grace Slick in Gimme Shelter mode puts it over the top. This isn’t exactly a band limping to the finish line and fading away. Hey Yes, are you paying attention? Probably not, Steve’s too concerned about audiences making too much noise at rock concerts.Comment
