I've just learned that co-founder and songwriter Dave Cousins was among the recipients of honorary degrees last week here at the University of Leicester, and in fact a Leicester graduate, of which I had no idea. Well done him. He's 78. Ceremonies were at De Montfort Hall as usual, literally just across the road from where I'm currently sitting in my office.
