Harrison had said to him and John Paul Jones that Zeppelin's only weakness was that they never did any ballads, so Page wrote Rainsong in response, deliberately quoting the opening harmonies of Something. BTW the opening lyric line of Something was 'borrowed' by Harrison from an early James Taylor song, whom he had signed up to Apple Records. All's fair in rock and roll ... ๐
