  • Ozric Tentacles: New Album!

    From Facebook:

    STOP PRESS:

Ozric Tentacles new studio album ‘Lotus Unfolding’ is out October 20 on Kscope – Pre-orders available now: https://ozrictentacles.lnk.to/Lotus_Unfolding

Ed Wynne comments “The concept is, as usually wide and open to interpretation but basically is a sonically illustrated excursion through some of the musical realms we found ourselves in this time around. Designed to elevate and delight the senses, should that be required, because if the day feels like an unfolding lotus, it’s probably going to be a good one!”

The album was recorded, written and produced during 2022 – 2023 by Ed Wynne with a little sonic help from Silas with Brandi Wynne, Saskia Maxwell, Tim Wallander and Paul Hankin assisting on this new aural excursion.

Mastered by Adam Goodlet and illustrated with some nicely detailed ethereal artwork by Steve McKeown and Sally Clark.

Lotus Unfolding will be released on limited edition Marble coloured vinyl LP with limited die-cut sleeve, limited edition blue vinyl LP also with limited die-cut sleeve, Black LP and CD with digital pre-orders starting next month.
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

I always have time for Ozric Tentacles. Imaginative and diverse.

No idea. In the words of the late Robert Hunter, via the music of the Grateful Dead, 'If you get confused, just listen to the music play...'*
