I love the Unthanks. Seen them live several times. Becky and Rachel sing in their authentic Tyne and Wear accents, which is where much of their music is drawn from. Authenticity. That's the key to what they do, whether it's interpreting traditional folk songs from their region, or their own songs, or the occasional cover.
