Im sure all ELP fans know of the existence of these demos- I believed released as "Space Gospell" to one of the Fan sites in the late 80s or 90s- Its an interesting work in progress on most of the tracks that ended up on the singular ELPowell album- although one or two such as Hooligan and 2 very different versions of Serious Pursuit- didnt end up on the album- a shame as the later is actually very pretty with Greg's scat vocals. The Score has a number of demos and tend to have a much more aggressive Powell approach- perhaps in line with what most of use were expecting and somewhat more evident on the live show CDs. I do recall an interview on line from the mid-late 1990s- I think with one of the people who ran a non- approved KE website- that they heard KE's demos for the intended 2nd ELPowell album and they were fantastic- Of course this is impossible to verify as none of this has ever come to light and I doubt whether what appeared in BM and ITHS would have been described as fantastic in demo form!
