    THE SORCERER

    Cyan

    I'm callin' it.

Pete Jones is the most talented dude in Prog.

Sings, writes, plays guitar, keys and sax. To a world class level. All without the ability to see.

Tell me he is a national treasure?

    Glass Hammer

    From The Inconsolable Secret.

    Nice complex neo-prog.

Juano sounds the same. Guitarist is sonically soarin'.

Outstandin' Roger Dean cover. One of my faves. The ice structures glowin' incandescent under a starry night sky.

Incredible technique! Such precise and clean picking, but never loses the tempo!

Musical accompaniment this morning is provided by Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643).
    L'Orfeo (1607)

Generally considered to be the first opera, and the earliest still performed regularly.

Got the extra tracks remastered cd version 2021. Definitely toned down from the “warehouse “ sound. Clearer too.
There’s always something about the original on album’s you love.

Given as a gift. Really enjoying this. My favorite solo Beatle album. That helps.

After I'd finished listening to the Locatelli Art of the Violin concerti just after lunch, I've moved on to a couple of compilations of Grateful Dead jams: Scarlet Begonias/Fire on the Mountain from 1994 and 1979, and now a splendid assemblage of Eyes of the World jams. A fairly busy administrative work-morning, but much quieter this afternoon, with no perturbations.
