Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been. -
I happened upon Norwegian improvisational outfit Supersilent sort-of by chance, as they are connected with Elephant9, also from Norway.
Similar to avant-garde jazz composer Anthony Braxton, they have not named their albums, nor the tracks on those albums, but merely designated them by album number and track number. I find this practice strangely freeing.Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.

Yep. It happens when I actually "Search".
I might be searching for a song with "tree" in the title, and I'll end up with a band with "Tree" in their name, like "Porcupine Tree".
If I were searching of Porcupine Tree, I might end up with a song about Porcupines further down the hits.Comment
