    Japan leg of the tour

Did I miss something? FY shows an additional date of 9/12, but I don’t see anything on Yesworld.

    Just a curiosity.

Not that it truly matters - I don’t see this addition of a date in Japan getting me to fly there……🤪

Biding time here waiting for that US leg announcement in the other thread.

Yesworld unfortunately is often a bit behind.

The earlier Tokyo dates have sold out and they've added a new date, and are promising a (somewhat) different set list at it, including an acoustic segment! Some details -- in Japanese -- are online.

😂. Haha! That’s both curios and funny.

Where's the original text? Often it turns out things get lost/different in translation. The acoustic segment could be Howe's solo for instance. Yes isn't exactly known to suddenly changing their setlist for one night.

Sometimes they do different things for Japan. On one of the more recent Japan tours, one night they played The Yes Album in full, long after the Three Album Tour when they did that previously. I imagine a little acoustic section would be way for them to pull off with Leaves of Green, Madrigal, and some other song.

                Live Nation 日本でYesのチケットを探そう。|アーティストのビデオ、バイオグラフィー、ツアー日程、公演時間をチェック!

It's pretty clear they're promising something different, although precisely what or how much is not specified.

Yeah I see it now. "An acoustic interlude" it says in translation.

Japan is a wonderful place to visit and I would love to go there in the fall to see Yes especially since it is looking MORE likely every day they are not touring here in The Americas in 2022. Hopefully they make good audio and video recordings of these shows.

                          Apparantly not.

According to an attendee on twitter, the setlist was:

                          - Alan White tribute (to excerpts of Turn of the Century)
                          - Firebird Suite
                          - On the Silent Wings of Freedom
                          - Yours is No Disgrace
                          - Does it Really Happen
                          - Steve solo: To be Over
                          - Wonderous Stories
                          - The Ice Bridge
                          - Heart of the Sunrise

                          Intermission

                          - Close to the Edge
                          - And You And I
                          - Siberian Kathru
                          Encores:
                          - Roundabout
                          - Starship Trooper

So No Opportunity Necessary No Experience Needed and Dare to Know where omitted compared to the UK tour.

The poster on twitter said his impression was this was all about the promoter and the venue.

Are they playing with a support?
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

good setlist, was hoping they might try another from the Quest live, maybe Westren Edge or Leave Well Alone. I can understand them dropping Dare to Know, the vocals clearly needed some work.
