Happy you enjoyed the show, Tim.

I want to thank you for all you have done over the years, again, Tim. Yesfans.com was really something for a lot of peeps, and with John, and those who are still on board, it's still somehow going, just like YES.

I met and hung out with so many folks, traveling some of the country to hang out with these same folks, and see shows. Heck, I even hosted folks from around the world, and picked up others from the airport. I've had access, and been able to hang out with various members of the band, and gotten to know some, and be called by name, in some part due to yesfans com.

Two of the people high on my list to meet, and hang out were you and the beautiful Mrs., Tim. And I was able to do that on a St. Patrick's Day, in Louisville, Kentucky. I was picked up at the airport by another YES-fan, and his buddy, who let me sleep in their hotel room. Then I met you two, and others, friends, old and new prior to the show. Fun times! I had some buttons made up to commemorate the event and handed them out before the show, and at the venue where a couple folks asked for one. I was even recognized as that guy on yesfans.com, and people asked for a couple of pictures together. The show was great, and as usual, the good vibe had to be ended far too soon as folks left to go home, including me, do I could go back to work.

I can't tell you, Tim, how many folks from here who are frends for life, if we ever meet up, again, at any be point in time. Going to ROSfest for years was a result of this place, too. I had a blast for many years, because of your site, Tim, which was all of our's site/home as well. Thank you, my friend. I hope you, your wife, and your boys are well.

I can't believe my Crystal turns eighteen this Friday. She has been my greatest adventure and joy from day one. I look forward to the short time I have left with her, one day at a time.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show 1yesfan! Sadly we had to take a pass on the show we were going to in Brown County IN (power was out at the AirBnB we had reservations for so they had to cancel). I thought about going last night but that didn't work out either so I guess we'll be waiting until 2023 for our next chance.

Well the show has come and go. Full house. I had real no exspectations of what I would hear. It was VERY good. The setlist was a nice mix of tunes I knew would be played, others not heard in a time. I found some of the sounds arrangments changes within them which I really liked. I always liked that about YES playing live and found that YES had got away from it. Steve was absolutely on fire. 70 something year old playing like her is 35. Not a note of MANY not dropped. It is clearly his band now and it shows. I used to have a hard time wrapping my head around that. Not after last night. I kinda felt through the early year with JD that he just was trying to hit all the high notes. Last night he seemed to change that, pulling down those notes to a lower range. I like Jay, he plays his set a bit difff then Alan. Billy was very good. GD weeeeell just did not do much for me. He added to the music but did not punch home much for me. Over all I think the NO JA NO YES arguments should be over now. This group has it's own identity now that works rather well. Kudo's to them.

If you can get a "center" located on the balcony that is not bad for this venue.

Taft Theater holds 2500 which I would not call really small by any means. Yes has played there previously. Taft is where I saw my first show with Beniot David which was really good (and sadly his voice was shot shortly thereafter).

And it's Cincy not Cinci carlmarx38...
