Wow. A one song album. It's not even an EP. It's a single song that appeared on a compilation box set. Except for this one song that was probably cleaned up for YesYears, any other material from that timeframe are just demos.
      Not on Yes' payroll.

Not sure. But I've wondered what would have happened if Squire slipped Jimmy Page a tape of the Ancient during the brief XYZ days, to rehearse for. lol Kind of a death wish but would be interesting what he would have come up with, with his Yes cap on.

That isn’t entirely true and you know that as

these two songs were released in world trade’s 1995 album but clearly were written and demoed during the 1989-1990 sessions

then you have the four songs that wound up on union from yes west that likely would of been part of the album in 1990

which by my math does create a full album

          love conquers all
          the more we live
          lift me up
          Evolution song
          saving my heart
          miracle of life
          say good bye

          about a 45 minute album

He still did not play on the YesWest albums that were actually released and from which it was suggested some songs could be played on tour.

You're not going to get songs that weren't released by the band played live. It's not like anyone comes along and plays... I don't know, "Telephone Secrets" live!

The one YesWest song where maybe you could see the connection is "The More We Live - Let Go".

Well, not including cover and “tour” songs, they did play Aliens (Are Among Us), Go Through This, Flight Jam,, and We Can Fly From Here more than just a few times.

The band have sometimes played new songs, songs in development, some of which then never made it to a studio release. They haven't ever chosen something old for the set list that was unreleased at the time (and not being worked on anew). It seems unlikely that they're going to dig up "Say Goodbye" or even "Love Conquers All".

Been really out of the loop for a few months. Any rumors on 2023 US dates, approximate season of tour? I see the European dates have pretty much remained similar.

No. I would guess after the European dates, so maybe July onwards?

I'd love to hear Future Times/Rejoice live!!! As far as Gates, it's one of my favorite Yes songs, but the way this line up played it was, well, a bit iffy. I'm really excited to hear Sound Chaser and especially To Be Over live for the first time. The Remembering? It does have some great bass playing, but they could cut off a lot of the padded keyboard fat that puts me to sleep. My least favorite on TFTO by far. But a lot of fans absolutely love it...
