FYI - I emailed the State Theater today and asked when the doors would be open. I was told doors open at 7pm, with the Roger Dean gallery in the upper lobby, followed by Roger’s presentation, at 8pm (I guess that is on stage) and then the Yes show. Thought they might have opened the doors a little earlier so I checked. 7pm it is.
Got to NB at 4pm and got to chat with Mr Dean (!!😊😊😊!!) outside the venue. He was just hanging out as we walked by on our way to get some dinner. Such a nice guy!

Very nice. Certainly a very huge bonus of the evening. Still on my bucket list to meet Mr. Dean without it costing me an arm and a leg.
Seems that all of the shows had pretty poor-looking presales ( except one) but the walk-up is pretty good.
Well yeah, but in pre-sale there wasn't any 2 for 1 offerings. That sort of discount will provide a pretty good walk-uo, but will seriously effect the revenue of the tour I reckon.
A good outing tonight in New Brunswick, New Jersey! The set list was decent but no real surprises. Machine Messiah was outstanding. The America instrumental edit was very cool. These are really fine musicians and the band sounds really, really great. Billy’s bass playing and harmonies are on point. Jay Schellen is on fire—the force the band needs to give the songs muscle. A+ for him.
The TFTO medley was very good clocking in at about 18 minutes, but was hard to keep up sometimes because you never knew when they were going to switch gears. BUT it was the first time I’ve seen Yes play the Relayer section of the Remembering.
South Side of the Sky was outstanding and please let’s give it up to the legendary Geoff Downes. He was outstanding the entire night but particularly on this song.
Nothing off Close to the Edge, Relayer, or from the Rabin era.
The one-two punch of Roundabout—>Starship Trooper for the encore was quality but not the most creative outro—honestly give me another new song—Luminosity (I called it out to no avail 😂) or YIND or Siberian Khatru.

Roger Dean was…thoughtful... and loquacious 🙂
Overall a great show.
glad you had a great time!

Might have met you! Did you and your wife meet at Rutgers?

Yes sir!!! We can’t help telling folks when we are up there 😁. Did we talk outside, In restaurant, in show? My wife was in the power chair, easy to spot and remember 😉.
Seeing and getting to talk to Roger Dean early in the afternoon was a great surprise. Wonderful guy!!. Enjoyed the Gallery in the upstairs lobby, didn’t buy anything though. His presentation was interesting, but he did ramble a bit.
Machine Messiah was excellent (a fav of the night)
America was odd, although I did like getting to see Billy in the limelight.
SSOTS was really good. Some more good Billy and Geoff.
TOTC was also excellent (another fav of the night).
Steve had no crowd issues, he wasn’t glaring at anyone or the band, wasn’t going crazy, played great, it was a “band” show and not just a SH show. 👍👍.
Cut from the Stars - Billy up in the mix again, enjoyed the new song. Would have liked another new one rather than, say, the america clip.
TFTO - while I liked hearing the different passages, it was hard to get into it, and felt disjointed. I was happy to get to see it, but would have preferred 1 full song.
we didn’t cut out during the encores, and took it all in.
it was a very enjoyable evening and a good show. Nothing bad to say 😊.
My kudos to the State Theatre staff once again!!!!

was there 2 for 1 at Westbury? That seemed to fill in before the show, but I don't know.
What that will effect will be where they get booked next time or ticket prices.
Could be though that they were here just a year ago, and then Jon in April. Jon sold out or almost shows in 1000-2000 seat places dotted around the northeast. Probably smaller places than Yes played but a couple similar.
