At my seat! I went by the merch stand, and planned to buy a program until I saw that they were...$75!!! 🤯 The program went unbought. The t-shirts were ok, but I didn't feel compelled to buy one.

Let’s not forget that often times venues get a percentage of the merchandise at shows, helping to inflate the prices.
VIP seats ( which also include a hefty service fee to help with the venue ) will not only get you a good seat, but you usually get a bag, a program, a limited print, something else depending on, and generally early access to the merch table,, and the bathroom if need be, sometime early drink service and a separate entrance, and sometimes the ability to put items back into your car but I would always get to know staff first.
I biatch about the prices sometimes until I once, again, remember, I have a good seat, and much easier time and an enjoyable experience I don’t mind paying for as it is a limited treat for myself. Most people treat themselves somehow, and if you don’t constantly throw away money on the little stuff, some self indulgence is more than okay.Comment

Roger Dean opened the festivities with a slideshow and a talk. I liked it very much, but those whose attention spans were shorter were having a difficult time not being obnoxious. (They did just fall short of being totally boorish and rude, but not by much.) I hope this won't be a problem at future shows, but I have to concede it could be. Enough said.

i Will need a bigger look at the merch table. Is that a big cat I spy on the yellow shirt? My green Fiftyth CTTE shirt might not be so ugly after all if I wear to my show ( still waiting for a Celestial ( don’t know why I always want to put Solstice down ) Songs shirt to come available for sale. ;-)
