  • I’ll be there with yooouu!

Thank you, John V. for creating the sub-forums. :-)

An exciting day for yet another YES tour in 2023 to go on sale/be announced . Who would have honestly thought whether you were there at the beginning, the middle or for even the new fans or those who have never been to a YES concert, or if it has been decades, we still get a chance?

I know nothing about the MGM, but depending on those traveling in early, having the day off, coming after work, I am sure that more than a few of us could get together at a restaurant or a bar at the casino beforehand. You don’t even have to know anyone, or perhaps been looking at the forum for years, just find a group of generally old, er young people in YES tee-shirts. Only Igor use to bite, and he was with the band. If someone knows anything about this venue, please make some suggestions on where to meet up, and when. Early yet, but who is planning on attending and hanging out with some old and new friends?

    I’m in!

I’ll be going! Someone surprised me with tickets today, section 2, row C. I might be bringing someone new to the concert if my usual concert buddy can’t go.

I haven’t been to the MGM yet, but it is supposedly a nice venue. I think this is where YesF/ARW was supposed to play in 2018 if they had gone forward with a longer tour.

MGM actually across the River from d.c. in Oxon Hill, MD.
MGM Theatre suppose to hold three thousand people and there are boxes, there two. Was pretty tight at the Warner the last time for sure holding one thousand , eight hundred and forty- seven . Like Grand Central station at the intermission, and I couldn’t imagine being a regular bloke or woman waiting in line for the bathroom. MGM should have a lot more breathing room.

Plenty of cheaper places to meet up before the show, too,

A lot of suburbanites use to take the metro into d.c. when the shows were at the Warner Theater. Was it just parking and convenience, or will venturing across the river be a deal breaker for some fans who might just opt out instead?

Plus its got a casino where you can blow your dough before the show. Depending on where you park, I think that you have to walk through the casino to get to the live venue.
