  • 2023 U.S. Classic Tales of YES Tour

    Hello, everyone.

While this information has recently been posted and added on the 2024 Classic Tales of YES Tour thread, of that tour in the U.K., I thought it was important and less confusing not to have it’s own thread. I forget how the sub forums work, but feel free to start some threads on the shows you will be attending, and hopefully meeting up ahead of time with other good/great people. So far the tour begins 9/21 and runs through 11/09/23.

Hope to get seats this friday for the NB, NJ show (gotta be a member to get that promo presale code). If not, will defer and hope WC accessible are still available for the Bethlehem show. Appreciate the sharing of the promo code for the TM LN shows. Thx!

You should come down to Maryland. There are two surprisingly cheap wca and wca companion seats available right now in the front row in front of Steve. Order your tickets, get your arses down here Oct 3 and join me in the front row.

Opps, somebody just snatched them up. Would be nice if it had been you two.

Hahaha! I would love that!!! We need to get out of our NJ/PA//NY shell!!

We have come to like the state theater in New Brunswick nj. They don’t sell thru TM so we have to take our chances. Great people and easy access seats and area for us. And it’s only an hour away. I actually prefer Atlantic City because it readily suits all our needs and wants in one location. We have been to Bethlehem, Pa before, also easy access for us. I have my fingers crossed a couple are still avail for NB,NJ. I could defer to Englewood also if needed. I won’t go to Philly anymore though.

Honestly, if we had the opportunity to be able to stay away over night - I would do the drive down. Thank you for the invite!!! Couple hours. No big deal there. But I have no one that I can trust to stay with my kitty cat 😊 and give her her meds each day. So, we have halted all overnight travel, started June 2022, for awhile.

Rob, I might be going solo this year and may get seats near you. Not to be creepy but I’ve seen you in person at the Warner but didn’t get a chance to say hi haha.

I would ( not to be creepy ;-) LOL ) love a chance to hang out and/or finally meet you, too . Remind me your name.

We could create a thread specific for this show or someone could figure out how to create the sub forums for all the shows ( it must be done ) of this tour. Then folks could more easily plan who is going, and possibly meet up a head of time.

                      LOL!

Not as “creepy” as when you go into the bathroom before a YES-show and somebody introduces himself to you. Thankfully zero handshaking occurred at that time. YES- fans may be a bit weird, but we def. aren’t stupid. LOL

The happiness begins already with the announcements of shows, ticket purchases, knowing that others, old friends and new, are going, and that there will NOT be handshakes or fist bumps going on in the loo. LMAO

Doesn’t look like a massive run on Tix during the presales so far today…

The average YES concert goer has zero idea that any announcement was made, let alone YES are touring in the states in 2023, let alone on sale. Very quick announcement and the presales and other categories just jumped out of the gates today. Fortunate to be on this site with fanatics who post, though an odd placement at first in the 2024 ( UK ) tour thread.

I first took a look there after my phone algorithms, which is really the biggest benefit if you care anything about YES, or anything for that matter- whatever you type or say, they are listening, always,, provided me with announcements I probably would have missed if I had been at work. The usual good seats weren’t blocked up while folks were deciding. There was no real wait in the queue. A little different set up with the seats and selections this time, more than normal. But it boils down to most folks, again, had no idea.

I can vouch that Rob is not creepy - I've enjoyed hanging with him for several Yes & Asia shows over the past 10 years or so!

Doubt I can make the Nat'l Harbor show, but will make it to the Philly-Met show!
