True, Howe's been a little more gracious about that material, with "Time and a Word" in particular having a longer life in the setlist over the years… My suspicion is that he regards the first two albums more favourably in part because he was the replacement for that guitarist, and the YesWest material less favourably because he was himself replaced for it (kind of sort of not really but also maybe just a little bit). He can see that Yes evolved from those first albums while he also views 90125 and BG as some kind of devolution. Which, shame.

If we're looking for songs from 90125 that Steve's band can tear up the first one that comes to mind is Cinema and I would be fine with that.

Not too sure how 'wowing my prediction is. It's a pretty safe setlist, based on the format of this years tour. But then again Yes is playing it relatively safe nowadays, so I do think my prediction is pretty realistic.

It's going to be a difficult one. They play Continental Europe as well as the UK. So they can't just change out Relayer for CTTE and keep the setlist from this years tours in tact., because the UK would get virtually the same show. But I also don't see them doing a completely different setlist in 2023 without any overlap. Plus the chances are they'll have a new album out.

    - Firebird Suite
    - On the Silent Wings of Freedom
    - I've Seen All Good People
    - Tempus Fugit
    - Steve Solo
    - The Ice Bridge
    - New Song
    - Parallels
    - Perpetual Change

    Intermission

    - Gates of Delirium
    - Soundchaser
    - To Be Over

    Encores:

    - Roundabout
    - Starship Trooper

I can’t see “The Remembering” either, unless, what with the increasingly aged audience, they feel the need for a really long pee break. Something from Drama is more likely, with Geoff in tow, maybe even something from The Ladder with Billy. “Parallels” and “Madrigal”, sure, why not? They can do them ok.

Hmm, not enough in first set to make me risk buying a ticket again.

    Yes European 2023 tour setlist

5 months and 17 days till the start of the tour no reason we can’t have fun

    firebird suite
    parallels
    the remembering
owner of a lonely heart (40th anniversary of the album I can see Billy persuading Steve to do this song)
    Madrigal (the 2017/2018 version)
    and you and I
    looking around
(Untitled single off the new yes album)
    the ice bridge

    intermission

    Gates of delirium
    soundchaser
    to be over

    Encore
