  • Where are the CT Yesfans?

Just went online to purchase Palace theatre tickets in Stamford CT, tickets went on sale 10am as of 12:30 today only 4 tickets were sold. This Theatre fits 1800 and ticket prices are 229 vip first 10 rows 129 front orch rear orch 99.00 all with additional service charges..I'm hoping the lack of interest and high ticket prices doesn't derail this U.S tour..I guess we'll find out soon enough as the majority of shows go on sale 9/2

They may have bitten off more than they can chew. Cancelations coming.

I think part of what's going on with ticket sales, or lack there of at this point, has to do with this horrid dynamic pricing deal that essentially gouges people who get tickets early. For a band like Yes that is not selling out shows in a flash like some people are, Billy Strings for instance, it definitely pays to wait as long as you don't mind potentially having less desirable seats. There are a ton of folks that live close enough to these shows so maybe they will start drawing from other markets once the word gets out a bit more.

It's only been a few days since the dates were announced though, hasn't it?
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

It's also not "summer" or off work shows either.

Just showed up on my phone a couple days ago, and I am a YES-fan. It's going to take some more local promotion to get the regular folks informed and/or excited. I just hope they don't focus on the wrong crowd by playing Owner in the background of the promos. ;-)

Having 2 shows in Connecticut and foregoing shows in some big markets may not have been the best decision. Yes, I know a lot of bands are touring after 2+ years of COVID with a fixed number of venues but this tour seems to have been hastily thrown together with tickets on sale less than 2 months before the tour. I know it's the 50th anniversary tour of CTTE but The Quest doesn't even get a mention in the promotion, just some "classic cuts". Maybe they are saving The Quest world tour for 2023.

            Not on Yes' payroll.

Your perception of sarcasm is limited. The band isn't even supporting it in marketing the tour but we get CTTE for the third time in full in the last 10 years.

Their albums no longer sell. Marketing costs money. You do not throw good money at a bad investment knowing you will not get a return. This tribute band with 1 classic Yesman is just running out the clock milking the CTTE 70's stuff for as long as they can get 2/3 of a 1500 seat house in attendance paying ridiculous prices.

I give the band credit for putting out new material. Unfortunately, it is not very good

Can't speak for Stamford, but DC sold fairly well during the presale. Upper Balcony seats are only $39.

I know the general public would rather hear the classic material, but not me. Here's hoping they add a track or two from The Quest (or the previous two albums,) along with The Ice Bridge and Dare To Know.

You have 2 shows within 30 miles of you...As a die fan as you are hopefully you can come up with the cash.....With the price of tickets you may have to go the gofundme route

I have a guy who works as a middle man, doesn't leave bad scars, and will remove both of your kidney's for 3k. You should be healed up in time to see your show/shows. Let me know. He can be up that way next week, unless something comes up.
