Yes with a Female Vocalist?

Given the upper register required for most Yes songs, a female vocalist would be a somewhat natural choice, above is Susie Bogdanowicz of Glass Hammer (pre Davison's involvement).

Aside from Jon Anderson, I would prefer a female vocalist singing YES material. When it's a male vocalist, I always get the impression that they are trying to sound like Jon Anderson.

I think I was at Busch Gardens, an amusement park, when I went into a theatre, and listened to a woman sing, who possessed an amazing , well-trained voice. I thought to myself she would be perfect to sing YES-songs. I was going to ask her after the show/performance if she was familiar with YES-music, but I could tell that her older parents had come to see and hear her perform, and spend some time with her. How could I interrupt that?

No, well I like Jon Davison as singer, but Yes with female vocals is something I would have nothing against at all and would even welcome. Having a lady singer behind the mike would up the ethereal side of Yes a notch or two. Actually, Yes music is tailor made for a female vocalist. Not too far-fetched. I wonder if Yes ever considered it.
