I noticed there wasn't a column for German chart positions in the main yes discography page on wikipedia, so I added all the studio albums peak positions for the hell of it from Offizielle Deutsche Charts. Yes have been charting pretty well over there in recent albums! The Quest was at number 7!

number 30 in the UK! Not bad, but not as high as I was hoping especially after the number 6 in midweek sales, it really dropped off quickly...

This album failed to chart in the US? Wow that's a bit upsetting tbh.... it deserves good sales.

I didn't think sales would be lower than for The Quest for the first week.

The US Billboard charts aren't announced until Tuesday morning, or possibly Wednesday morning next week since Monday's a holiday. Since Inside Out didn't screw up this time and have the physical release and streaming arrive on different weeks then the new album may make the main Top 200 chart. The Quest became the first Yes studio album since Keys 2 to miss that chart, and before that you have to go all the way back to Time And A Word for that dubious honor! Wikipedia claims Keys 2 charted at 169 but I believe that's an error (yes, there's a mistake on Wiki, hard to believe!) .

I wondered if Billboard's release was later than I assumed. Music to the Stars should make the top 100.

Number 30 a great achievement at this stage of their career. A little down on the Quest which achieved 20.

According to Wiki, Fly From Here "entered the Japanese charts at number 56, the UK charts at number 30, selling 5,242 copies in its first week,"

Mirror to the Sky also reached 30 in the UK but that was 12 years ago, so a good guess is that fewer than 5,000 copies of the new album have been sold.
