    Top ten 80s Yes songs

The favorite decade of few, but with some great Yes music imho.
    1. Machine Messiah
    2. Tempus Fugit
    3. Hearts
    4. I’m Running
    5. Our Song
    6. Into the Lens
    7. Does it Really Happen?
    8. Cinema / Leave It*
    9. It Can Happen (live)
    10. Holy Lamb
If we permit a theoretical complete 1980 studio recording of “We Can Fly From Here,” that would be Home

*I’m considering this a single song. Otherwise omit “Holy Lamb.”

Well, with 80's Yes, there isn't much of it (only 3 albums, 4 if you count ABWH). And I could easily list all 6 songs from Drama as choices, but that wouldn't be fair to the rest of the 80's Yes which is also great stuff. So, my pix for now are:

            in no order:

            Into The Lens
            Final Eyes
We Can Fly From Here (live version from MSG 1980)
            It Can Happen (9012Live version)
            Tempus Fugit
            Hearts
            Big Generator
            I'm Running
            Our Song
            Machine Messiah

if you count ABWH as Yes and not a new spinoff band from 1989, you could add Brother Of Mine in place of one of the above tracks

And the World Trade album from 1989 is pretty ace, yes, and Revolution Song could have become an actual Yes song had Billy Sherwood come in then and Union never happened. There's gotta be an alternate universe somewhere where that happened. Anyhow, that World trade album definitely scratches the itch for 80's/rock/Rabin type Yes.

              Not in order:

              Tempus Fugit
              Changes
              Hearts
              Shoot High, Aim Low
              I'm Running
              Holy Lamb
              Miracle of Life
              Real Life
              Walls
              Endless Dream
              Rabin-esque

Good list Luna but 4 of those are from the 90’s. What’s your bonafide 80’s only list?

Technically, the 80's began on Jan 1, 1981 and ended on Dec 31, 1990 which removes Drama and changes the dynamics of the song pool. To have more options, you could include the ABWH2 demos and the Anderson-less Yes late in the decade with songs like Love Conquers All.
                  Not on Yes' payroll.

Not sure what you mean by “technically”. This is what leads on the Wikipedia page:

“The 1980s (pronounced "nineteen-eighties", shortened to "the '80s" or "the Eighties") was a decade that began January 1, 1980 and ended December 31, 1989.“

There was no year 0 (zero) AD so decades run from years ending in one to years ending in zero.
