Both Rick Wakeman and Jon Davison were both on the recent '70s Rock & Romance Cruise. Rick was doing his solo show; Jon was performing with John Lodge.

Wakeman writes in his April GORR: "I also went on the Rock and Romance cruise ship and was amazed how well organised it was for all concerned. I did two shows and 2 Q&As which were really good fun and it was great to catch up and spend some time with some old friends, namely John Lodge and Don Felder." So, he met up with Lodge. Did Lodge mention his new son-in-law? Could Davison have been present too?

Well Rick was supposed to have lunch with Steve Howe. Hasn't happened. Rick might seem the life of the party when he's "on". But think he likes his own space nowadays. Walkin' his beloved dogs. Trackin' down his beloved onion soups.

So. Doubt they sat around swappin' memories of performin' Tales or whatnot. Also generational. You don't hang with much younger dudes with their Tik Tok, bitcoin and short attention spans.

So. Probably no meetin's or snapshots. Juano has hardly a presence on FB or insta? Lodge only promotes gigs on FB.

Like at festivals, groups can be cliquey. Unofficial heirachies form.

Shame. Really.

Just found out John Lydon's late wife Nora Forster was a music promoter in London who had worked with YES and Hendrix back in the day.

Jon Anderson was the godfather to her late daughter Ari who sang for The Slits. So. Did John ever meet Jon?
