    2023 Rock and Romance Cruise

I see the 2023 Rock and Romance Cruise out of Florida, https://rockandromancecruise.com/ , will include, separately(!), both Rick Wakeman and (playing with John Lodge) Jon Davison.

Well, nothing says “romance” like wearing (just) a spangly silver cape…

Well, to be honest, it wouldn't look right to see a guy in a cape on an airplane, now would it? ;-)

I wear a sparkly bib because soup.
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

I swear, Ash, it is that sparkly bib that you fashion, that catches my eyes, and NOT, your chest. I always try my best to look everyone in the eyes, men, and women. :-)

              Nice bib, btw. :-)

Yeah I have to admit that I found Rick's inclusion a bit weird, lol.

What is The Six Wives of Henry VIII if it is not a concept album about romance?

I would be up for attending something like that, and not up to attending something like this. Most, a good amount/high percentage of the groups I see are, and have been are sadly a "sausage-fest" at the shows. These folks were recently disappointed they didn't get to eat balls, and wanted their money back.

TENSIONS grew incredibly testy at a new testicle-themed festival this weekend after supplies of deep-fried bull balls ran out temporarily, leaving disgruntled customers heading for the exit in a ve…

Wakeman's take on the Tudors is undoubtedly a romantic one, but Henry's interest was in begetting a legitimate male heir. He had several illegitimate male children, but only one legitimate one, Edward with Jane Seymour.
Katherine of Aragon, who was to become Henry's first wife, was originally betrothed to Henry's older brother Arthur when she was just 3 years old! It's long been speculated that had she produced an heir and a spare, she and Henry may well have remained married, the break with Rome may not have happened, and the English Reformation and the Dissolution of the Monasteries? Who knows?
And there would not have been Rick's first solo album.
