Geoff has said FM would be cool to play midset. For a change of pace. No drums. Give Alan a break. Otherwise think you got it pretty spot on. TTM would be stunning Live.

Hope they do start with TIB as a demonstration of confidence and belief. Sure would bring the house down.

Thanks! Yeah if I were to add Future Memories it would be in that gap between Dare to Know and Solitaire- I'll add it in. I'm a big fan of most of what Yes has been doing recently- even with Heaven and Earth considered I think those three songs I've put in would work really well in a concert environment. I'm not sure how long my hypothetical concert would be (I could work it out).

EDIT with the addition of Future Memories it would be 1 hour 50 mins a pretty ideal length with maybe room for a couple more even.

            Believe Again

            The Western Edge
            Light of the Ages
From The Turn Of A Card
            Solitaire
            Imagine
            To Ascend
            To the Moment
            A Living Island
            The Gift Of Love
            Hour of Need
            Into the Storm
            Subway Walls
            The Ice Bridge

I'd probably include Machine Messiah too. I may not like Drama, but it is post Anderson (the first time) and obviously has a following.

And it's the least annoying thing on it !

I did consider The Game, but its a little too bland for me and Believe Again is an obvious option, but I went with Light of the Ages instead. I like the list- To the Moment to open, very interesting choice!

Must be a big fan of From a Page I see! Not a lot from The Quest, I like the idea of opening big with the epic- nice little middle section from turn of a card until to ascend. Strong finish very nice. I would disqualify Machine Messiah if you added it I wasn't really including Drama material

I do like From A Page but including all of it balances the Benoit/Davison material a bit better and gave From A Page the live airing it didn't get.

OK, I can live without Machine Messiah !

I wouldn't say TIB is my favourite song on the album, but it *is* the best show opener, and that word, "confidence", is exactly what I was thinking of which makes the difference between TQ and H&E: TQ sounds confident where H&E sounds tentative, and that's largely why I like the songs so much more. (This is, naturally, completely subjective.) H&E always sounded a bit lost, like they were making an album because they felt they needed to for some external reason, not because they were ready to, and maybe unsure of what direction to go in. As +65% of FFH had been 30 year old existing material, I think Steve and Chris were a bit "out of shape" as writers of Yes music, and Jon was maybe playing it save lyrically and vocally. Now, though, after years of touring and listening to each other play night after night, they've got a confident sound and direction, and have made a much stronger album for it.

And but also, why not throw some Drama material into the mix here? That's four non-Anderson albums to pull from, even if you absolutely, legally, have to put Roundabout into the encore…

Anyways, this is just over an hour and a half, as album times go:

                    The Ice Bridge
                    Leave Well Alone
                    The Western Edge
                    Sister Sleeping Soul
                    Machine Messiah
                    Believe Again
                    To the Moment
                    Run Through the Light
                    Damaged World
                    Tempus Fugit
                    Into the Storm
                    A Living Island
                    Roundabout
                    Starship Trooper

There would be no concert as no promoter would sign off on it even if Drama material was included.
                      Not on Yes' payroll.

Not a concert I'd have any interest in attending.
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

I'll include material from Drama, as it was post-Anderson once. It's also, when stacked against the three albums and 1 EP post-Magnification, their one hit/classic album in terms of popularity and sales, I suppose. In such a context, Drama becomes the new Fragile/CTTE or Yes Album. I'll try to be realistic in making a set-list, no 4-hour shows, just a concert which could actually happen if Yes chose to do so. Remember when there were solo spots tucked away in a 2 hour show way back in the day? Well...

                          Intro: Firebird Suite/
                          Does It Really Happen?
                          The Ice Bridge
                          Dare To Know
                          Into The Lens
                          Believe Again
Howe solo - Sketches In The Sun/alternates with 'Solitaire on some nights
Fly From Here (part 1- 6) -full suite

second set begins kinda low key:

Jon Davison solo - To Ascend (just him on acoustic gtr)
Leave Well Alone (dropped mid tour, replaced by A Living Island)
The Western Edge/Sherwood bass solo: Archived or In Memory Of.../Cut The Ties - for Chris
                          The Gift Of Love
Downes solo: Subway Walls intro/White Car/piano bit
To The Moment - extended a bit, maybe a drum solo, not sure. Closes main set

                          encore:
                          Into The Storm

leave the stage, come back for 2nd encore:
                          Tempus Fugit

                          thank you and goodnight.

I'd pay to see a show like that, unpredictable and with no Roundabout! Oddly enough, no Machine Messiah on this tour, not sure why.
                          Great show.

I've turned a corner in my thinking about the present band; the classic material really does belong to Anderson and should be largely left to him. Contrary to some of you, I believe the current band could get away with a 2011 - 2021 setlist, provided they promised the hits - Owner, ISAGP, Roundabout, Trooper or YIND. Just a hunch that promoters aren't that familiar with most of their music.
