Nice list, I had forgotten about some of these:

Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

Still waiting for that Roger Dean Floating Islands film that will make us instantly forget all these videos.

They missed the promo for "On The Silent Wings Of Freedom" which, even though it doesn't feature the full song, was still shown by VH1 and MTV a fair bit (and is arguably more interesting than anything on the list).

If we're counting the Belgian TV promos for Time And A Word, we may as well count the "America" and "Going For The One" promos as well although both of these only circulate in pretty questionable quality.

It's interesting how they did so many official videos for Time and a Word. Maybe Yes were video pioneers since I don't think many other bands were doing videos at that point. After that album most of the songs became much longer and so they wouldn't have made good videos for a general audience.

That was supposed to happen at least ten years ago! At this point I don't think it will ever happen. Roger probably lost a lot of money trying to James Cameron so maybe that's why it never got of the ground.

I think the writer(s) did a pretty good job in terms of their ranking of these videos. Personally I might put the Drama videos just a little higher, but generally I might rank these videos in a similar manner

They weren't really music videos per se, they were all done as part of a special for the Belgian TV show Pop Shop which was later released under the title "Rock Of Ages" on Voiceprint. Pop Shop are also responsible for the Black Sabbath show from Paris in 1970. Why they didn't choose to film a live show for Yes is anybody's guess but it would have been much cooler if they had, as cool as these clips are!

                    Agreed Brockers.

Love the DRAMA vids. The vibe. The wind machine. The guys look revved up. Squire wearin' the Horn glasses!

Was that stage set up the actual Live stage show setup?

The 70's vids look stiff. WS excepted.

                    The 80's look naff.

I don't really have any issues with the ranking.

Some of those early ones were pretty zany, like, Monkees zany.

I really don't like promotional music videos at all. If it's something abstract and swirly that's not so bad, but miming and all the pretence just irritates.
