  • Steven Wilson Blu-ray Remixes: Permanently OOP?

Hi all, long-time fan but new member here. Does anyone know if the Steven Wilson Definitive Edition Blu-ray remixes are permanently out-of-print? Availability of them now seems close to nil, and used prices are getting pretty steep. I know that some of the King Crimson boxes that have been off the marketplace for a couple of years are now coming back, so I assume it's a possibility with the Remixes... any insights?

No idea - I picked mine up a while ago direct from Wilson's store when they started going out of stock from some specialists. I'd got caught that way before with Progeny.

I must say I'd be very surprised if they do reappear. I'd bite the bullet now if you really want them. They'll probably get rarer and more expensive.

The Wilson mixes are also available as CD only/UHQCD Japan imports. Original album tracks (new mix) with no extra material on those editions. They can get pretty expensive, depending on the seller. Sometimes can be found in the 28-30 dollar range.

I agree, I would scoop em up now. This goes for any physical media (except for vinyl, which there is now a demand for!)

I suppose there's a possibility of anniversary reissues of Close to the Edge this year, Tales next year and Relayer in 2024?
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

Just got an email from Burning Shed saying that these editions are back in stock.
