I hope you can add the clapping ladies back as well as signature lines etc. We were mote than screen names an avatars. Each person there was a member of a community with an individual personality. I hope that translates her.

I remember with Action Park. I ran their bungee tower.. .. we re-opened again as Action Park years later and someone had bought Actionpark.com and wanted us to buy it from him fir big bucks. We didn't.

There's a sadness attached to its demise.

For the time being it's still in my bookmarks bar, and it's just habitual to click on it, even though I know it's not there.

Until recently I had refrained from deleting deceased friends from my contacts list. It just seemed so callous to do so.

It is sad, in that the Internet tends to be such an ephemeral place, so to have had a fan forum that stuck around for 20 years seems really remarkable. At the same time, we are also very lucky that John created this new site for us and Yesfans has been reborn.
