The new multi-dimensional concept album by YES featurin' Jon and the Geeks. Tells the tale of a man who builds a time machine back to the Seventies. Available on Spotify and purple-coloured vinyl.
At least that's what I got from the album. It's a prog concept album, so, you know, it's, probably by design, not the easiest story to get an absolute bead on in terms of what the band was intending. They're fairly accessible online, though. They probably mentioned exactly what the intended meaning was- which may or may not be what I think it was.Last edited by downbyariver; 08-19-2022, 11:34 AM."A lot of the heavier conversations I was having with Chris toward the end were about his desire for this thing to go forward. He kept reiterating that to me. [...] He kept telling me, 'No matter what happens, Yes needs to continue moving forward and make great music. So promise me that that's something you want to do.'. And I have to keep making music. It's just what I do. [...] I'm a fan of the band and I want to see it thrive and that means new music." -Billy Sherwood

I'm really looing forward to the Band Geek Anderson tour (Richie stated on a podcast it's set for 2023). Those guys are all fantastic musicians. I'd rather see this than the Relayer tour. Big fan of Richie's work in Blue Oyster Cult since 2004 as well
How I get my Chris Squire Bass Sound -(if your a tech geek, this is pretty cool)
This is how I get a Chris Squire inspired bass tone using a Rickenbacker 4001 and a Line 6 Helix. The Helix presets can be found here...Rick-O-Sound:https://l...

He could easily be bitter and drown his sorrows.
So would see ABG if they came down here. To support Jon who has given me untold listenin' pleasure over the years.
