I'd love to know sales figures for every album approx., it would be fascinating.
I have no idea how to make an accurate guesstimate with the Quest. I'd like to think its above 100,000 worldwide, but there's no guarantee of even that figure nowadays.
The Definitive YES Albums
-The Yes Album-Fragile-Close to the Edge-Tales From Topographic Oceans-
-Relayer-Going for the One-Drama-90125-Big Generator-Union-Talk-
-The Ladder-Magnification-Fly From Here-The Quest-
I have no idea. I’ve looked around for clues but found nothing. Any previous forum-type of discussions on this question are populated with various citations of chart performance (number 4 on the Lithuanian mainstream classic rock sub chart, midweek 2 weeks after the release date, etc) but no data at all about sales figures.

With so much streaming now, I wonder how they could even count that?
I bought the box set and also added it to my phone through Apple Music. How many sales is that in total? I bought three different versions of the album (LP, CD and Blu-Ray) plus downloaded it via a streaming app.
You really do have to wonder if the band even made money on it. I suppose as long as they recoup their expenses, they’ll do it because they enjoy it, and it gives them new music to perform. But still. It would suck to put in all this work and then lose money.

As far as I know, yes, they make money on albums these days. But it's a very different environment compared to 50 years ago, or even 15 years ago.
