Maybe Davison had an additional song idea with the hymn-like Dream the Night section and wanted it to be somewhere in Light of the Ages and the others said it was too much but decided to keep the idea for later on a different song...Totally possible. We know YES always try out, shift and recycle song ideas...

Having listened to both, the folk vocal section might work and contrast nice somewhere in Light of Ages to make a more dynamic epic. At least vocally.
