    Which tracks to play live?

So, from the new album, which songs do you think lend themselves the best for the stage, to be played live?

I'm asking, because while listening to the album I found myself thinking that it's really a studio album and some of the songs have such a studio environment about them, for instance the title track with a segment of orchestra only, that they don't lend themselves easily for live performance.

Cut from the Stars would be an obvious choice IMO. All Connected is a contender, but I wonder if they would be able to pull all the vocal interplay and harmonies off live. Unknown Place I feel could also be done. The Howe pop ditties One Second Is Enough and Magic Potion could be done, but I don't think people are waiting for those. Tracks like Luminosity and Circles of Time would probably drag te energy of a concert down too much.

    So, what are your thoughts?

honestly id love to see as much as possible but I know it wont happen- this is the strongest album for me in decades.

Cut From the Stars, All Connected and Mirror to the Sky are all essential live tracks AFAIC. I have my doubts about the epic being feasible given the use of the orchestra however, (but it's just too good not to!!)

I'm not only interested in which songs people would want to hear live the most, but also in which songs they think would work the best live.

I expect they will do 2-3 songs, possibly the title track and Cut From the Stars and/or All Connected.

However, I personally would love to also hear Unknown Place live.

Living Out Their Dream could work well live

Yeah. I forgot to mention that one, but you're right. Could get the audience on their feet.

The orchestral bits would be a breeze with the current orchestral libraries Downes could work with.

The tracks I think could work live are:
                    Cut from the Stars
                    All Connected
                    Living Out Their Dream
                    Mirror to the Sky
Circles of Time(I'd rather have Future Memories live before this song)
                    Unknown Place

Geoff has two hands and two feet. He could cover it all live. ;-)
Nothing wrong with programmed backing symphonic tracks on certain songs. Here’s an idea never done before. An orchestra in every city they play.

To get a beer or a trip to the bathroom.
                        Not on Yes' payroll.

Luminosity would be better suited for that. At 9 minutes in length people could do both....😉

I actually think Unknown Place has the right energy for a live song, would love for Geoff to get more attention as well. Plus i'm a sucker for organ sounds.
