Took me a while but yep, this a real gem of modern Yes. The album is shaping up nicely with this alongside the opening track. Its really energetic and beautiful with slower and mid tempo sections that i actually feel compliment each other strongly, vocals are great Billy and Jon working well together. It went from a 6 initially to an 8/9 out of ten. A triumphant sound!
Hoping Luminosity and Mirror blow me away..... if they do, we could have a classic on our hands. Wishful thinking perhaps. I still regard Fly From Here very highly, and doubt this will get to that level but it doesn't need to necessarily.
I loved the Quest, but if the trend of these strong songs continues, this album may yet be stronger. For most that won't be a difficult bar to overcome, but for me it will be a challenge. Could it be a top ten Yes album for me? we shall see....The Definitive YES Albums

This album has something Yes hasn't done for a long long time. In longer songs if they repeat a theme, it's not just repeated but it's also a variation of it.
Like in All Connected the "You're never out of reach, You're never out of mind" vocal line is repeated using totally different chords. It takes time to get all the nuances, but I just love this part of listening to new music.Symphony
Karmachromatic
It's only static
The key defines the scale we climb
To at last perceive we are
We are contrast in harmony👍 1Comment

Drivin' rythms by Billy and Jay and tasteful guitar by Steve reminds me of Synchronicity by The Police. Upbeat and shimmerin'. Thematically also about all the seen and unseen connections in Life!!!!

I’m kinda getting All Connected a little more, with the help of good production and sound quality overall on the album. I think it’s got a bit of a generic feel that you have to get used to if you listen enough. I’m not really into semi clever lyrics that have words like karmachromatic that you know are coming. A little cringey, but that’s just me, apparently given how high the song scores here. It’s a heady sons, and Yes music has been considered head music. All Connected sounded good with that in mind and with a good sativa.👍 1Comment
