Nice shout out to Jon Anderson in there as well, "Bless him and love him".

Thanks for posting, Arno. Got to give it to Steve, he’s still got vitality and it’s really good to see that. I’m hoping that that vitality is on full display for this new album.

Yeah. I love that he can still talk so animated about the creative process. His enthusiasm works contagiously, on me at least.

Lovely video. Good to see Howe so enthused and so thoughtful.

As Arno said, he gives a sweet shout-out to Anderson. It's interesting that he says his solo-written ideas for Yes struggled to get through in the 1970s* compared to material written with Jon A.

          * Indeed, there are very few solo-written Howe pieces in '70s Yes. "Abilene" made it as a b-side. "Go Through This" in 1980 got played live, but wasn't released. "High" and "Countryside" got demo'd only.

Steve seems very satisfied with his work, looking forward to hearing the rest of the album, Luminosity and the title track in particular!

Well, um, yeah, Steve does that.

Gushing effusive praise to promote every album he's been on, but down the road he's the thresher on it's way to cut down the wheat.

He's not gone back on The Quest, still talks positively about it.

True but you can’t negate what Zach is saying. Steve has been brutal at times in his Jekyll and Hyde modulations. As far as The Quest, it might also indicate a lack of objectivity when it comes to a Yes that he is leading.

It would be very unusual for an artist to trash an album that he carried the most responsibility for. I always thought that his bactracking on previous releases was more about the irritation that came with not being in control of the final product.

Very nice! I appreciate that they got a professional crew in for that video. Hopefully there will be more videos!

Yeah. Nice interview. Steve looks and sounds in fine fettle. Also with the turquoise necklace like Jay Schellen. A coincidence? Or was it a gift from the new drummer?

Imagine the YesShift guys will interview Jay and Billy.

YMP guys might grab the UK based guys.

                        Excitin' times! 🤗

Nice interview. Good to see the band promoting with videos. An improvement compared to last time.

I’m still a bit anxious about the orchestration. As nice as it was on Dare To Know, it also feels tagged on. And it looks as if that’s also the template for this album. I understand that for the band it would be more laborious and complicated to do it otherwise, ( as on Magnification) but the end result would be worth it IMO.

                            Still too fresh.
                            Not on Yes' payroll.

Steve still seems to have a positive view of The Ladder and Fly From Here, and he’s mostly positive about Keys to Ascension (probably more the second one). I think Steve does what any band member is supposed to do when they have a new album out: help promote it. And of course he’s going to like the albums that he’s produced. That’s obvious.
