I love them both, but I will pick New Languages (inspired from the other thread)

An example that Yes always sticked too much to their well known classics from their kanon TYA till GFTO and thereby did not give a lot of great material the chance to grow into classics.
Just some! examples wildly taken from all eras: Future Times/Rejoice, Dreamtime, Shoot High, Aim Low and the one I voted for here, New Language, intriguing Yes-like zig-zaggingand highly atmospheric. And great modernised keyboards inspired by Wakey.

Fine pieces to start and finish a fine album with: Distinctive, energetic, melodically rich.
Yes, I know Nine Voices is the last track on The Ladder, and it's a lovely epilogue, but....
I can't single one out over the other, as it's the progression from one to the other that works so well...Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

I like The Ladder, it is Yes most kaleidoscopic album. But I always had problems with Homeworld, it is one of the few Yestracks in which I miss the tension between heavenly beauty and a certain earthiness. It's only beautiful, which is not enough for a Yestune :-) And well, a little cheesy it is...
