I’m pretty sure that all CD versions of The Ladder have the exact same mastering, regardless of packaging variants. I’ve seen a Japanese mini-LP too. I still have my original US CD copy from 1999 on Beyond Incompetence.

I hve not listened to The Ladder very much over the last decade, I should dig it out and re-visit it. I think it was a solid release, some good songs, some great keyboards on that album and a very good mix.
I think it is probably better than anything that came after it.
love The Ladder, great songs throughout the album. Not a fan of the positioning of the lettering on that repackaging though compared to the original, the Roger Dean artwork seems to go into the writing.
