That's when the guys say "whip out one of those Howe/Anderson type acoustic songs to fill up some time, we need another song..., yeah another Soft As The Balcony" LOL

I actually don't mind those pretty little diddy's....

Having a strong outside producer like Trevor Horn does help to weed out the clunkers.
I do like Hour of Need for a Steve song. As well as TMYAWMTB. It did indeed help having a fantastic producer like Horn who helped give the 2 songs a bit of the Yes vibe. Can you imagine RTB versions if they went on H&E?? Glad they made it on FFH.... I do find it odd Gift of Love got axed, I really like that song. Thank God Oliver put it out !

Fair, I'm not much of a lyrics guy. And I've got no problem with stupid lyrics anyway.

Whew, let me count the ways. They keep adding to their do not play list. Let’s call it the benefits of being a franchise or the reality of having lost the plot many moons ago or a combination of both.🤦

Dude, you crack me the F up ...............!

You know, I learned to enjoy Soft As A Duck, maybe there is hope for Mystery Tour, as performed by SHY(T)E.

"Yes" albums used to have their own unique and good definition, in my opinion. Now there is a band called "Yes" that recorded a song called Mystery Tour. Best evidence it should be called Steve's Yes Experience....

    YES!?? You be the judge.

During COVID, he did a video interview where he mentioned having just moved his studio and his home. I don't recall where the move was to. It could have just been from one home in LA to another home in LA, or something further afield. I really am mostly focused on the music with these interviews and stuff, but, like you, I occasionally absorb other information he's made public, just, probably also like you, at a lower retention rate than the music applicable stuff. . The music is of course the reason we care and where the focus is going to be, but I wish him well with all this other stuff. He seems like a nice guy and has certainly been responsible for bringing a lot of musical enjoyment into the lives of his fans.

I don't do Facebook, so mostly I just know what I read here and on Henry's site and from listening to or reading interviews.

He is likely to be a key, or maybe the key, figure, in Yes continuing as a creative entity past Steve Howe's active involvement, if the legalities allow the band to do so. Sherwood is laid back, but gets very passionate at times about continuing this band's legacy and that legacy including new music, which matches what I'd like to see for them, so hopefully we all get what we want. Yes would be in good hands with him.

That he has the facilities and the abilities to record an album in his studio, incorporate remote participation, produce the thing, and then put the finishing touches on it and send it out to a label could be important if the financials behind doing a Yes album and label interest ever fall below a certain threshold. Being able to just do it yourself, and do a professional job inexpensively, is not something all musicians have the talent or the studio equipment to pull off.

Obviously he is even more of a nexus when it comes to stuff like Circa: and Arc of Life which would not continue without him. Yes might, but this other stuff is really him as the driving force and only happens if he makes it happen.
